Current Deposit Account
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCB.
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. Minimum deposit amount of BDT. 1000.00 is required for opening the Account.
  4. Withdrawal of any amount at any date is allowed.
  5. Opening of any Individual, Joint or Institutional account is possible.
  6. Rate of interest is 0%

 

Special Notice Deposit (SND)
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCB.
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. Minimum deposit amount of BDT. 1000.00 is required for opening the Account.
  4. Withdrawal of any amount at any date is allowed.
  5. Rate of interest is 2.50% - 3.00%
  6. Opening of any Individual, Joint or Institutional account is possible.

 

Savings Bank Deposit
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCBL.
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. Minimum deposit amount of BDT. 500.00 is required for opening the Account.
  4. Withdrawal of any amount at any date is allowed.
  5. Rate of interest is 3.25%
  6. Opening of any Individual, Joint or Institutional account is possible.
BCB Srijoni (A Savings account for Working Women)
  1. Any working woman of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCB.
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. Minimum deposit amount of BDT.100.00 is required for opening the Account.
  4. Rate of interest is 3.50%
  5. Interest will be paid half yearly on daily balance.
  6. There is no obligation of minimum balance for interest.
  7. Account maintenance fee will be deducted at the rate of Tk. 50 / - per half yearly
  8. In case of making profit for half a year, income tax / excise duty (if applicable) has to be deducted from the profit earned as per rules.

 

BCB Nondita (A Savings Account only for Housewives)
  1. Any housewife (minimum 18 years) of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCB.
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. Minimum deposit amount of BDT. 500.00 is required for opening the Account.
  4. Withdrawal or deposition of any amount at any date is allowed round the month. But no interest will be paid should more than two withdrawal is made in a week or the minimum balance of any particular month reaches less than Taka. 5000.00/-
  5. Rate of interest is 3.50%
  6. Interest will be paid half yearly on daily balance.
  7. Income tax / excise duty (if applicable) has to be deducted from the profit earned as per rules.

 

BCB Students’ Savings Account
  1. Students from 6 to 18 years of age are applicable for opening the account.
  2. This is a joint account which cannot be opened with anyone else other than parents.
  3. For the verification of age, as a means of evidence, Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / School Certificate will have to be presented before opening the account.
  4. Rate of interest is 7.25%
  5. Interest will be paid half yearly on daily balance.
  6. The minimum deposit for opening an account is Tk. 100 / -.
  7. There is no maintenance fee on the account. No service charge / fee other than government fee will be deducted.
  8. Monthly maximum withdrawal limit on ATM card is 2000 / -. At the request of the guardian, this limit can be increased to a maximum of Tk. 5000 / -.. SMS will be available on the account holder's guardian's mobile.
  9. Income tax / excise duty (if applicable) has to be deducted from the profit earned as per rules.

 

BCB Fixed Deposit
  1. A term deposit account which can be opened by any adult citizen of Bangladesh at any branch of BCB.
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. Current Rate of interest from 4.50% to 6.00%

 

BCB Chikitsha Shurid                                              
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCBL..
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. The account can be opened with any amount of money multiplied by Tk.1,000. but not more then tk. 25000.
  4. Scheme period 05 years/ 10 years/ 15 years/ 20 years.
  5. Loan facility 10.00 lakh possible (terms apply).
  6. Annual interest rate: 07.25%.
  7. Cash can be made possible before maturity (conditions apply). 

 

BCB Bibah Shurid                                                  
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCBL..
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. The account can be opened with any amount of money multiplied by Tk.1,000. but not more then tk. 25000.
  4. Scheme period 05 years/ 10 years/ 15 years/ 20 years.
  5. Loan facility 10.00 lakh possible (terms apply).
  6. Annual interest rate: 07.25%.

BCB Shikkha Shurid                                               
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCBL..

  3. The account can be opened with any amount of money multiplied by Tk.1,000. but not more then tk. 25000.
  4. Scheme period 05 years/ 10 years/ 15 years/ 20 years.
  5. Loan facility 10.00 lakh possible (terms apply).
  6. Annual interest rate: 07.25%.
  7. Cash can be made possible before maturity (conditions apply). 

 

BCB Nirvar (A DPS Account)
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCB.
  2. The applicant has to provide 2 (Two) Passport sized photograph, Photocopy of  National Identity Card / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport / Driving License or other relevant document exemplifying his / her identity and 01 (one) Passport sized photograph of Nominee.
  3. Duration of the Scheme is 03 (three), 05 (five), 07 (seven) & 10 (ten) years.
  4. A loan privilege of up to 90 % is possible against the entire deposited amount.
  5. Attractive and maximum profit rate 7.50%.
  6. A single customer can open multiple BCB Nirvar accounts.
  7. Monthly installment facility from Tk.500 to Tk.20,000.
  8. Automatic deposit facility without charge from link account.

BCB "Monthly profit Scheme"
  1. It is an interesting fixed monthly profit project.
  2. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCBL.
  3. The account can be opened with any amount of money multiplied by Tk.100,000 (one lakh)
  4. Monthly profit will be automatically deposited as customers CD/SD account.
  5. A loan privilege of up to 80 % is possible against the entire deposited amount.
  6. If it is 1 year or more, the profit will be paid according to the current rate of the savings account.

  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCB.
  2. A minimum of Tk. 50,000 / - or its  multiplied any amount  can be deposited.
  3. Deposits will double in 5 (Five) years.
  4. A loan privilege of up to 90 % is possible against the entire deposited amount.
  5. Rate of interest is 14.87%
  6. Income tax / excise duty (if applicable) has to be deducted from the profit earned as per rules.

 

BCB Triple deposit scheme
  1. Any matured citizen of Bangladesh can open the account at any branch of BCB.
  2. A minimum of Tk. 50,000 / - or its  multiplied any amount  can be deposited.
  3. Deposits will double in 10 (Ten) years.
  4. A loan privilege of up to 90 % is possible against the entire deposited amount.
  5. Rate of interest is 11.62%
  6. Income tax / excise duty (if applicable) has to be deducted from the profit earned as per rules.
