Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited and Bangladesh Bank have signed an agreement to collect Govt. Revenues & Treasury Challans through Automated Challan System (ACS). The signing ceremony took place at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall, Bangladesh Bank, Dhaka on September 06, 2021.

Under this agreement all the Branches of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd. will collect passport fees, value added tax (VAT), corporate and personal income tax, Duty, Surcharge and other Govt. fees.

 The Automated Challan System will enable the customers to pay their treasury challans from any Branch of BCBL. Through this system smooth payment of government revenues/challans in real-time will possible to government treasury without any hassle.

The agreement was signed by Md. Forkan Hossain, General Manager, Bangladesh Bank and Omar Farooque, Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd. in the presence of Ahmed Jamal, Chief Guest &  Honorable Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank.

Md. Zahangir Alam, Executive Vice President & CFO, Md. Sarwar Mahmud, Assistant Vice President, Md. Mostak Meah, First Assistant Vice President, Mohammad Mahfujur Rahman, Senior Executive Officer and Md. Mushfequr Rahman Bhuiyan, First Executive Officer of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd. along with other Officials from Bangladesh Bank were present in the signing ceremony.
